Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Local Labs LLC handles, why, where it is kept and how it is deleted. We keep it short because we handle very little.
1. Who we are
Local Labs LLC ("Local Labs", "we", "us") owns this website, locallabsai.com, and runs The Nani Company, an Etsy shop that sells digital planners, printable calendars and spreadsheet tools. Local Labs is responsible for the information described in this policy.
2. Our Pinterest app
We use a small internal app to post pins of The Nani Company's own Etsy listings to our own Pinterest boards and to read analytics for those pins. It is used only by Local Labs and is not offered to anyone else. More detail is on The Nani Company page.
What it accesses and why
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| Our own Pinterest boards | To save pins to the right board and organise boards by product type. |
| Our own pins | To create pins for our listings and avoid posting duplicates. |
| Analytics for our own pins (for example impressions, saves and clicks) | To see which of our products people are interested in. These are totals; they do not identify individual people. |
| Our own account's basic information | To confirm the app is connected to the correct account. |
The app requests these Pinterest permissions: boards:read, boards:write, pins:read, pins:write and user_accounts:read. It accesses only Local Labs' own Pinterest account. It does not collect information about other Pinterest users, it has no user accounts of its own, it sets no cookies and it contains no ads or analytics trackers.
Where it is stored
The app's Pinterest access token is stored in a local file on the owner's computer. The token is never sent anywhere except to Pinterest's API. Information the app reads from Pinterest stays on that same computer and is used only for running our shop.
3. Our Etsy shop
When you buy from The Nani Company, Etsy handles your order and payment under Etsy's own Privacy Policy and terms. We never see your payment details. We only see the order information that Etsy shows sellers (such as your name or Etsy username, what you bought and any messages you send us), and we use it only to fulfil your order and answer your questions.
4. This website
locallabsai.com is a simple static website. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools, shows no ads, has no forms and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. We do not collect any information about you when you visit.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may record technical information such as your IP address in its server logs to keep the service secure and running; that is handled under GitHub's Privacy Statement. We do not receive or use those logs.
5. When you email us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you, and we delete it when it is no longer needed for that.
6. No selling or sharing
We do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone. We do not use it for advertising. The only exceptions are if the law requires us to disclose something, or to protect our legal rights.
7. Retention and deletion
- Pinterest app: we keep information read from our own Pinterest account only as long as it is useful for running the shop. All of the app's access can be removed by revoking the app in Pinterest's settings and deleting the local token file; after that it can no longer access anything.
- Etsy orders: order information stays in Etsy and is governed by Etsy's policies.
- Emails: deleted once they are no longer needed to answer you.
If you believe we hold information about you and want it deleted, email us and we will do so promptly.
8. Children
Our website, shop and app are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also add a short note at the top of this page describing what changed.
